SmartRoot is a cyber-physical system with advanced technology developed for detecting the effective root zone of plants in field conditions. The effective root zone is the part of the root where 70-80% of water and fertilizer are used. The SmartRoot technology, which facilitates the distinction of this zone from other root zones of the plant, shares the location of the effective root zone with the user with high accuracy.
It is an ideal system for obtaining effective root zone data in the field (farm, garden, greenhouse) that the user wants to achieve. Data obtained from the root zone is provided to the user via GATEWAY.
The GATEWAY is a central connection unit. It serves as a modem for peripheral devices via GSM and LoRa communication modules. It can also take on the task of gathering meaningful information from sensors on its own.
Advantages
■ Easy setup
■ You can obtain information about the field from anywhere
■ Creates a wide range of applications with the LoRa system, providing access up to 10 km from the center. It offers broader functionality compared to technologies like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
■ Communication module that enables connection with sensors linked to the central unit
■ Long-lasting battery with options for solar panel or network voltage feeding. Remote access for quick support (via smartphone, computer, or other devices with internet interface).
Energy source for GATEWAY
■ 12V long-lasting rechargeable battery / Solar panel / External power supply (Transformer, etc.)
■ Provides uninterrupted power even in areas without an electrical source
Connection structure
■ The capillary movement and moisture sensor (KHAS) enables remote access to the system through our communication protocol.
■ LoRa communication network formed with long-range antennas.
Optional terminal units
■ Central collector with valve control, 1-255 units.
■ Pump control, 1-255 units
■ AirMoles Air Station
Programming
■ All products are programmed with their own unique terminal number, allowing the user to use the product directly.
CAPILLARY MOVEMENT SENSOR (CMHS) is a cyber-physical technology that enables real-time monitoring of plant root movement, capillary water movement, and soil moisture levels during and after irrigation, through its unique patented and embedded modular sensor system.
It is the only patented technology in the world where you can simultaneously observe capillary water movement and moisture levels in the soil profile. We are proud to share our 97.34% local and national technology with you.
Advantages
■ It is a sensor module that provides the user with real-time information on capillary water movement and soil moisture levels below the ground.
Connection Structure
■ The capillary movement and moisture sensor (CMHS) supports connection via RS485 communication protocol.
Programming
■ All products are programmed with their unique terminal number, allowing the user to start using them directly.
■ With its continuously developing embedded software, the system offers various irrigation methods to the user.
Application Areas
■ Field ■ Garden ■ Greenhouse ■ Landscaping
Parameters Obtained by CMHS
■ Capillary Water Movement Sensor
■ Moisture Sensor
■ Effective Root Zone
It uses the LoRa (Long Range Communication Protocol) method. It sends the moisture values received from the soil and the water movement data of the capillary motion sensor to the GATEWAY for interpretation using radio waves.
Advantages
■ Easy installation
■ Creates a wide application area with the LoRa system. Provides access up to 30 km from the center. Offers broader working range compared to technologies like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
■ Long-lasting battery, with power options from solar panel or grid voltage.
Energy source for Sensor Card
■ 12V long-life and rechargeable battery / Solar panel / External power supply (Transformer, UPS, etc.)
■ Provides uninterrupted power supply even when there is no energy source for electricity in the field.
Connection Structure
■ Remote access to capillary movement and moisture sensor (KHAS) via our communication protocol
■ LoRa communication network created with long-range antennas
Communication Method
■ LoRa protocol that ensures healthy communication with GATEWAY
Usage Areas
■ Field ■ Garden ■ Greenhouse ■ Landscaping
Parameters obtained by the SENSOR STATION
■ Capillary movement sensor ■ Moisture ■ Effective root zone
It is the only patented technology in the world where you can observe capillary water movement and moisture levels in the soil profile during and after irrigation. It is a module within the GATEWAY box. It operates in parallel with the user’s needs. Each valve module controls a single solenoid valve.
Irrigation
Considering that nearly 75% of water resources are used for irrigation, it is our duty to protect water sources and soil, which are decreasing and getting polluted, in the agricultural basins where we farm, for the sake of future generations.
Connection Structure
■ It is integrated with GATEWAY.
End Units
■ Solenoid valve. 12V DC locked solenoids for Valve Control (open/close).
